Leanna has been working on writing down her story spanning early childhood up to when she embarked for India in 1996, which marked the beginning of the second phase of her life. The initial manuscript interwove her childhood adventures with a thrilling fantasy-romance she experienced in a near-out-of-body progressive “high vision.”However advisors have suggested that blending two distinct genres may hinder the book’s marketability. Therefore Leanna will now be developing two separate manuscripts:

1) The memoir will include her adventures growing up as the only child of pioneers born out of time. Stories include: Traipsing across America almost coast to coast four times, living in 12-foot tar paper shacks while building homes from scratch, riding pigs, roping porcupines, riding wild horses and learning to fly a plane at age nine.

2) The Novel will delve into the allegorical vision Leanna experienced between ages 9 and 13, which reads like a fantasy-thriller-romance… only it was real!

In March 2012 a respected friend suggested that the high vision fantasy-thriller experience could be successful as a film. Since then, Leanna’s efforts have been centered on crafting a “Treatment” to prepare the experience for presentation to Hollywood.
